MINI Windshield and Auto Glass Replacement
MINI makes a small car, but the windshield is not simple. On the Countryman the head-up display is standard on some versions, and that changes the glass.
A MINI with a head-up display needs a windshield made for it, so we match the glass to the VIN.
Start with what MINI says. On its 2027 Countryman pages, MINI states that Head-Up Display comes standard on the Countryman S ALL4, and also on the electric Countryman SE ALL4. MINI describes it as showing key driving information such as navigation, speed and alerts. A display like that is projected up onto the glass in front of you, so the windshield has to be made to show it cleanly.
MINI also explains, in its own FAQ, that the driver can set the head-up display individually for height, brightness and illustration. That is useful to know after a replacement. If the new glass is right for the car, the image sits where you set it and reads sharp. If it is the wrong version, you can see double or blur. We would rather match the glass to your VIN than find out on your first drive.
The driver-assist side is a camera story. MINI describes its optional Driving Assistant Professional as camera and radar based assistance that helps maintain distance from the vehicle ahead and assists with lane changes. The pages we read do not say where the camera sits, so we will not tell you. Your VIN and owner manual show what your MINI has, and we read the VIN before we order any glass.
If your MINI needs camera calibration after a windshield replacement, the dealer does it. We do not calibrate, and we are straight about why. Makers recommend dealer calibration, third-party tools reach the vehicle computer through a back door that has caused system issues, and the procedure needs a controlled indoor space that a mobile visit cannot give.
One vehicle can have up to about 15 windshield versions by option package. We give a free estimate by VIN, offer OEM, OEE or aftermarket glass, and have a fallback when one is not available. We come to your home or workplace, and we also replace MINI door, quarter and back glass. For a hatch with a rear defroster, we reconnect the defroster connections on back glass jobs, as a customer review confirms.

Questions Drivers Ask
Does every MINI have a head-up display?
No. MINI lists it as standard on the 2027 Countryman S ALL4 and SE ALL4. Other models and years differ, and the VIN tells us what yours has.
Will my head-up display look the same after a new windshield?
It should if the glass is the right version for your car. That is why we start with the VIN.
Do you calibrate the driver assistance camera?
No. If your MINI needs it after replacement, the dealer does it.
Can you replace MINI back glass?
Yes, and we reconnect the rear defroster connections on back glass jobs.
